• Home Caramel

    Home-made caramelis a recipe.


    1. milk - 1/2 liter;
    2. sugar - 3 glasses;
    3. powdered milk - 1 cup;
    4. Butter - 100 g.


    To begin with, mix all ingredients except butter. Put the mass into the pan and cook, while constantly stirring, over a minimum of fire, until the sweet mass becomes brownish. As soon as the mass turns brown, we add butter to it and cook it according to the state of complete readiness.

    It takes about 1.5 hours to cook the caramel. If you cook less than the specified time, you get, not caramel, but boiled condensed milk. In the case if you digest the caramel, you will get toffees.
