Chicken in Peppers
Chicken in pepperis a recipe.
- Bulgarian pepper 4-5 pieces;
- chicken fillet &1pc;
- tomato (small) 2-3 pieces;
- some feathers green onions;
- yogurt without flavoring 2 tbsp.
- hard cheese 100-150gr;
- spices, salt, pepper.
To begin, clean the peppers from the entrails. Just need to leave the tails, so that inside there is more room for the filling, which will fill each half. Of course, it's better if you still took the big peppers, then the portions will be bigger. But you can also make more peppers, but with small portions of meat.
For the filling it is necessary to cut the chicken fillet in small pieces. So it will be more convenient to impose stuffing in halves of peppers.
We process tomatoes separately. First you need to separate the skin. To do this, boil water and dip the tomatoes in it for about a minute. Then take out the tomatoes, they quickly cool down and you can very easily peel off.We cut already peeled tomatoes into small cubes, no longer necessary.
Separately chop the green onions and parsley.
Now you need to mix all the stuffing together. So, mix chopped chicken fillet, sliced tomatoes and greens. Add salt, pepper and extra spices to taste. There we also add 2 tbsp. yogurt without additives. All thoroughly mixed.
Now on the baking sheet, on which the chicken in pepper will be cooked, lay out the halves of pepper. In each half we impose a ready-made filling with chicken. We set for 30 minutes in a preheated oven for 180-2000C.
After 30 minutes, take out a baking sheet and sprinkle each pepper with grated cheese. We put another 10 minutes - wait for the cheese to melt and form a crust.
