Breaking: New Study Gives Us a Surprising Reason to Sleep In

What’s worse than dragging yourself out of bed on a weekday when all you want to do is hit snooze? The stress of feeling bad about wanting to go back to bed. While we can’t help what time your boss requires you at work in the morning, we can say science has proved our instincts correct. 

As reported by The Huffington Post, Paul Kelley, an honorary clinical research fellow at Oxford University's Sleep and Circadian Neuroscience Institute, shared bluntly, “Staff should start at 10 a.m.” As for the why, Kelley explained, “It is hugely damaging on the body’s systems because you are affecting physical, emotional, and performance systems.” 

We’d like to send Kelley a thank you on behalf of all millennials in the workforce. But before you “accidentally” send this article to co-workers (or even your boss), it’s important to note that adults older than 55 tend to have an easier time rising earlier.
